About the Film:“This film is about doing something as simple as getting on a bike instead of into a car. It connects you to your body, your community and the natural world," Liz Canning, film director
Motherload is a feature documentary about a mother’s quest to navigate modern parenthood on two wheels. Using the cargo bicycle as a lens, the film explores family life, sustainability, consumer culture, and community. It’s an inspiring and thought-provoking story that highlights how bikes can help create healthier, more connected, and more resilient communities.
